Lactose Free Chicken and Rice

Prep Time: 10 minutes 
Total Time: 4 hours and 10 minutes 
Servings: 4-6 

Ingredients
3 frozen chicken breasts 
1 ½ cups brown rice 
3 cups Lactaid milk 
½-3/4 cup chicken broth 
2 tbsp flour 
1 package dry onion soup mix 
1 tsp salt 
½ tsp pepper


  • Before I start I like to line the crock pot with a slow cooker liner because it saves on clean up
  • Measure out rice and put it on the bottom
  • Stir in milk, chicken broth, flour, dry onion soup mix, salt and pepper 
  • Place chicken breasts on top 
  • Cover and let cook on high for 4-5 hours or until chicken is tender and shreds easily.
